This iron replaced a $one hundred thirty Oreck cordless. The Panasonic is lighter and handles significantly far better. The construction is far superior to the Oreck. Finest iron we have owned. .

If you are a quilter, the iron is always off when you will need it. Even even though you are employing it, it is cooling off, so unless you elevate it up and down generally, it is not advantageous .

I have had this iron for a month and so way, so excellent. I had the Oreck cordless and the significant distinction proper off the bat is the excess weight of the Panasonic...considerably, significantly lighter than the (actually) major Oreck. Time will notify if the Panasonic retains up to the need I set on it. I am a machine quilter and the iron is utilised a lot! Owned the Oreck for about five decades -- it "sprung a leak" and would throw sizzling h2o all above my work, the floor, the ironing board...what a hassle. Oreck will NOT repair th

Wonderful feeling iron. Ergonomic handle matches my hand properly. I would like the iron to be a bit heavier. I feel like I'm obtaining to press down tough on it to get rid of deep wrinkles in some materials. I also wish it was 1500 plus watts. It isn't going to look to get as hot as I would like for cotton materials as I would like. I am used to 1500 watts, and this iron is 1450 max. if that. I am not confident I will ever before use the wonderful cover that comes with the iron as I hardly actually transport or put my iron away. The iron
